Have you considered building on an existing chain without the need to make a separate network? Why have you chosen Cosmos over other ecosystems?
The Protocol could be deployed on any permissionless chain, but such implementation would not create the same value proposition for participants (even with inflation rewards and fees being directed towards the protocol for the general purpose L1) compared to a more tailored approach. The Protocol doesn’t have to share the block space with other applications and can take advantage of the Interchain interoperability and follow the vision of the Cosmos ecosystem.
A lot of refinements have been made to the Interchain Accounts module. For example, every smart contract instance has the ability to open an account on host networks where it can perform different actions like token swaps, liquidations, staking, minting derivatives, etc., giving Nolus the ability to stay platform neutral (mitigating external risk) while leveraging functionalities and advantages from different permissionless chains.
